    Audi quattro Cup 2010 kicks off

    Dubai – Audi Middle East kicks off the 2010 Middle East leg of the world’s largest amateur golf tournament. Individual tournaments will be held in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Bahrain, Kuwait and Syria with the winners proceeding to the Middle East Regional Final, where they compete for their ticket to the World Final in Sardinia, Italy, in October.

    Audi Middle East Certifies First Dealer Principals

    Dubai – Audi Middle East celebrates the first graduates of the Audi Management Academy. Five of Audi’s regional dealership managers have passed the first levels of management assessment and have been awarded the bronze level on their way to fully Audi Certified Dealer Principals: Aline Anastassiou (Syria), Christian Nehme (Lebanon), Mohammad Shway (KSA), Mohannad Al Adham (KSA) and Lee Boyle (Kuwait).

    "Best Cars of 2010”: Wins for three Audi models

    Ingolstadt/Stuttgart, January 28, 2010 – Audi has continued its success story in the “Best Cars of 2010” readers’ poll conducted by the magazine “auto motor und sport” (ams). Readers voted three Audi models – the Audi A4, R8 Spyder and Audi Q5 – into first place in their categories. Second places for the Audi A3, A6 and R8 Coupé rounded out the outstanding result.

    AUDI AG: Sales forecast for 2009 clearly exceeded

    Detroit/Ingolstadt – Audi has clearly exceeded the sales forecast that had already been upgraded in the course of last year, selling 949,700 cars worldwide in 2009. Overall sales for 2009 were thus only 5.4 percent down on the record-breaking figure for 2008 (2008: 1,003,469 vehicle deliveries). Rupert Stadler, Chairman of the Board of Management of AUDI AG, interprets this as a sign of the Audi brand’s strength: “We are making a lively start 2010 and aim to deliver one million cars again.” Audi sold a further 79,300 cars in December – a fall of just 4.2 percent on the corresponding month of the previous year.

    Audi upgrades annual sales target to 925,000 cars

    Ingolstadt, 9. November 2009 – AUDI AG sold around 82,750 cars in October, 0.4 percent more than in the prior-year month (2008: 82,436). From January through October, Audi sold some 787,900 cars worldwide (2008: 844,724). The difference compared with the record-breaking year 2008 was consequently reduced to -6.7 percent, significantly better than forecast at the start of the year. In China, Audi had already matched the total for the whole of 2008 by the last week of October.
