The TFSI® engines in the Audi A4.Powerful and advanced.
All the petrol engines are equipped with TFSI®, a consequent combination of economical direct injection and turbocharging. As standard, all engines are equipped with the start-stop system and recuperation, as a result of which they are among the most fuel-efficient power units of their class.
The A4 use TFSI® technology. The remarkable thing about it is it combines the advantages of FSI® with a supercharger, which ensures even better power delivery. All TFSI engine feature start-stop system as standard and of course fulfill the EU5 emission standard. The A4 is available with a variety of TFSI engines, ranging from 1.8 l to 3.0 l.
The 1.8 TFSI has 125 kW of power and a maximum torque of 320 Nm and is one of the most fuel-efficient engines of its class. The Audi valvelift system lowers consumption and due to an intelligent thermal management the engine reaches its operating temperature faster. At the same time, it directs heat to the interior which increases your comfort and helps to lower fuel consumption.
With its 155 kW, the 2.0 TFSI has an output rating of up to 350 Nm. It is characterized by good consumption values and low CO2 emissions. The 2.0 TFSI engine delivers 211 hp and features the innovative 7-speed S-tronic transmission.
The 3.0 TFSI V6 engine delivers 272 hp and accelerates the A4 in 5.9 seconds from 0 to 100km/h. The quattro permanent all-wheel drive ensures that the power is equally distributed to all wheels, thus providing the driver with optimal grip on all terrain.
