The 7-speed S tronic® dual-clutch gearbox helps to maximise driving pleasure. Reduced drag losses and early gearshifts at lower engine speeds produce superior efficiency.
The modern S tronic® changes gear with lightning speed. The gear change takes only a few hundredths of a second and is completed with virtually no interruption in traction. It is so fluid and smooth that the driver hardly notices it. Whether the driver selects the fully automatic mode with the D (Drive) and S (Sport) programs or chooses to change gear manually with the optional shift paddles, the gearshift feel is precise and extremely sporty. For all its dynamism, S tronic is also very efficient. Its high efficiency cuts fuel consumption and reduces pollutant emissions.
